Jessica conducts research on the semantics of materials and completed her doctoral thesis,'Materials as Carriers of Meaning: Perception and Effect Using the Example of Leather Substitution,' at TU Dresden.
In addition to researching semantics, Jessica is working on the development of a leather substitute made from plant peels.
