Jessica conducts research on the semantics of materials and completed her doctoral thesis Materials as Carriers of Meaning: Perception and Effect Using the Example of Leather Substitution, at TU Dresden. In addition to researching semantics, Jessica is researching and working on the development of a leather substitutes made from plant peels.
